It is also distinguished by its practical support in tracking and interpreting legislative and legal changes, allowing organizations to react faster and act in accordance with regulations. For Mastercard, it is the best place to share expertise in secure online payments and, together with the market, develop innovations such as Click to Pay, also supporting the cross-border ambitions of Polish e-merchants.

The Chamber of Digital Economy has been a member of Ecommerce Europe for already many years. It contributes to advance the interests of the e-commerce sector in Brussels, by actively supporting our EU lobbying activities. We also particularly appreciate that the e-Chamber is always ready to involve us and other national associations in its activities, to inform us and connect Europe with a growing Polish e-commerce market.

The legislative activities of the e-Chamber serve as a lifeline for entrepreneurs in many cases. There are an increasing number of new regulations, both Polish and EU, to which we must adapt. Smaller businesses cannot afford to have a legal department, and if a business is not conducted in accordance with the law, entrepreneurs may face high penalties. Thanks to the work of the e-Chamber’s legislative group, the e-commerce industry can operate more quickly, efficiently, and in compliance with the latest regulations, ensuring that consumers can shop with confidence, knowing they are doing so in accordance with the law.

The legislative actions carried out by the e-Chamber for a long time have had a significant impact on the way businesses, both small and large, operate.
